I came across a newspaper and saw all these profiles which looked amazing and thought I could give it a try. I registered with Lovers Uganda and was excited when I saw my picture in the newspaper after about 3 days. Later that day, my phone was swamped with messages, some I replied and others I did not.

I can say Johnny was quite lucky because his message came in about the time I was deleting most incoming messages since my message box was full to capacity. I decided to reply this final one, but it turned out to be a very interesting guy who I wanted to see as everyday went by.

A few days later, I received a call from the Lovers Uganda informing me that I and Johnny had won a date, fully sponsored by them. We agreed to meet the following weekend. I'll be honest; I have never been so nervous in my whole life! I was such a bunch of nerves, but the gentleman in Johnny calmed me down and before the date was over, I was the chatterbox of the day, a thing he says amazes him to this day because he didn't realize I could talk so much. To be honest, I think it was the anxiety that made me talk a lot as am naturally a quiet person.

I can say our date was a kind of ‘water testing' thing, but I would really want to go out on another date with him and get to know him a lot better. I do hope he feels the same way too. I thank Lovers Uganda for such a wonderful outing and which they could organize another for us.

Johnny

I first saw Becky's profile on Lovers.co.ug one late afternoon, can't exactly remember if it was a Thursday or Friday and I thought I could give this service a try. I found the procedure abit complex considering it is a new service, but once I got the gist of the procedures, I sent her a text and was lucky that she replied, or so she said when we met and I merely laughed it off naturally, but am curious to know if she was serious.

When I proposed that we meet, I thought she would back out of the arrangement and was surprised when I got a call from Lovers uganda telling me about how we had won a fully sponsored date! That was the icing on the cake for me and I knew it couldn't get better.

When we finally met, she was nervous and it could show. But after chatting for a few minutes, we all settled in and she unveiled the most charming character I had ever seen. We were soon chatting like we had been friends for years.

We had our delicious meal and drinks and everything was so perfect. She told me about herself though she seemed reluctant to reveal a lot as it was our first date.

I hope we will meet more often. Am very grateful to Lovers Uganda for organizing such a wonderful evening and for making it possible that I met Becky.

SALIMA
I've always achieved my goals in reality. As regards to love I hadn't been that lucky until I published my profile in Lovers. For a while I got chat requests from various nice guys but we didn't go far since the emotional connection was always missing. I never lost hope as many of them became my friends.

David approached me just like any other guy in chat. I realized that David is a hilarious guy at the same time composed. He always knew what to say most of the times. I always sought David's advice whenever I was having a bad day. Just like any other lady I took my time before giving in my contact details. Within I was very eager to meet him in person.

It's hard to believe but I feel I've finally met my true princess. Thanks to Lovers. It all started with a simple text message that I sent to Lovers requesting to chat with Salima. I had seen her profile twice on site's profiles page. I was hesitant because I imagined that such a charming lady could be single all this time.

It's on the second sighting that I was prompted to contact her. Like the saying goes,
"fortune knocks once on a wise man's door" For my case it knocked twice Salima responded the moment I requested to chat with her. During times we chatted, it came upon me that Salima's choice of words was as charming as her looks.
A beautiful non materialistic yet financially independent lady! It was evident enough that my single and searching days are finally over. Will not dwell much on the endless days that I spent trying to get Salima's contacts all I can say, it's worth it.

Where do I start....I just want to say two words, Thank You! When my friend suggested to me that I try this Lovers chat thing, I was a bit skeptical. However, I was really tired of either meeting the wrong people or not having time to meet any people at all! With a lot of hope I started chatting up some girls who had published their profile in the Lovers chat. I tried many of them and didn't really get lucky…, but I was persistent not to quit… as I enjoyed the "game" anyway! Then after about four weeks of chatting I linked up with Brenda and soon realized: this is the one!

I registered with Lovers Uganda service, cynically about two months ago. When I was published I experienced quite some harassment from family and even from friends. But as I got what I wanted, after a few unsuccessful dates, it worththe trouble I would say… Miraculously I honestly found the person who has become the center of my universe, Arnold. We are to be together, this after a few months of chatting and dating.

I started chatting for fun, you know something I would do for leisure…. It was in June 2007 when I came across lovers singles’ profiles in the News papers.
